Understanding the Employee Profile

The employee profile centralizes the main information about a person in Diamond Operations Pro.

The employee profile centralizes the main information about a person in Diamond Operations Pro.

From a single view, you can see: - General data (such as basic identity and contact information) - Jobs associated with the employee - Payroll information - Taxes - Related reports

This is the recommended screen to review a person’s complete situation before making operational or payment decisions.

When to open the employee profile

  • Before assigning or reassigning a person to important jobs.
  • When validating that employee information is current (contact details, address, position).
  • When investigating discrepancies in job history or payroll records for a person.
  • Before processing or approving payroll for an employee, if you need context on their jobs and taxes.
  • When preparing reports or audits that require a complete view of an employee’s activity.

Common mistakes when using profiles

Making decisions based only on the employee list

Use the employee profile to see a consolidated view of jobs, payroll, taxes, and reports before deciding on assignments or pay-related actions.

Not checking the profile after significant changes

After editing an employee’s information, open the profile and confirm that all key sections (general data, jobs, payroll) display correctly.
