Login to DOP with a verification code

Learn how owners, internal users, employees, and clients log in to Diamond Operations Pro (DOP) using their email and a 6-digit verification code, how to select the correct company, and how to handle common login issues.

Before you start
  • You have a registered email address in DOP.
  • You can access the email inbox to read the verification code.
  • If you belong to more than one company, you know which company you need to access.
  • If you do not have an account yet, an administrator has invited you or created your account.

The Login screen is the main access point to Diamond Operations Pro (DOP).

From this screen, owners, internal users, employees, and clients can enter the area that corresponds to their account, company, and permissions.

For a new user, the Login screen is the first step to:

  • Confirm their identity.
  • Choose the correct company (if they belong to more than one).
  • Enter a 6-digit verification code sent by email.
  • Start a session in the correct part of the system (dashboard, employee profile, or client profile, depending on the account type).

Make sure the following are true before trying to log in:

  • You have a valid email address that is registered in DOP.
  • You can access that email inbox to read the verification code.
  • If your email is linked to more than one company in DOP, you know which company you need to access.
  • If you do not have an account yet, an administrator has invited you or created an account for you.

If you are missing any of these, contact your DOP administrator before continuing.

Understanding a few basic terms will make the login process clearer:

  • User login: Login as a regular user (for example, internal user, employee, or client), using the standard user flow.
  • Owner login: Login as a company Owner using the dedicated owner flow.
  • Company selection: If your email is linked to more than one company in DOP, you must choose which company to access during login.
  • Verification code: A 6-digit code sent by email that you must enter to confirm your identity and complete login.
  • Session: Your active access to the system after the verification code is accepted and you are redirected to the appropriate area.

Log in as a regular user

  1. Open the DOP Login screen.
  2. Enter your registered email address in the email field.
  3. Make sure the "Are you an Owner?" option is "disabled" (off).
  4. Click "Login as User".
  5. If a company list appears, select the correct company associated with your email.
  6. Check your email inbox for the verification code that DOP just sent.
  7. Copy the 6-digit code from the email.
  8. Paste or type the 6-digit code into the verification code field.
  9. Click "Continue".
  10. Wait to be redirected to your area of the system (dashboard, employee profile, or client profile, depending on your account type).

Log in as an Owner

  1. Open the DOP Login screen.
  2. Enter the Owner email address in the email field.
  3. Turn on the "Are you an Owner?" option.
  4. Click "Login as Owner".
  5. If a company selector appears, choose which company you want to access.
  6. Check the Owner email inbox and locate the verification code that DOP sent.
  7. Enter the 6-digit verification code into the field provided.
  8. Click "Continue" to complete the login.

If your email address is associated with more than one company in DOP, a list of available companies will appear after you enter your email and click the login button.

To proceed:

1. Review the list of companies carefully. 2. Click the company you want to access "before" requesting or entering the verification code.

If you accidentally choose the wrong company:

- Use the "Cancel" action to close the company selector. - Then re-open the login flow and select the correct company.

Always make sure you are logging into the correct company, especially if you work with multiple organizations.

Enter and verify your code

  1. Wait for the email containing your verification code to arrive in your inbox.
  2. Open the email and find the 6-digit verification code.
  3. Enter the "full" code into the verification field in the Login screen.
  4. Check that the code you entered has at least 6 characters and matches the email exactly.
  5. Press "Continue" or hit "Enter" on your keyboard.
  6. If the code is rejected, confirm that you used the "most recent" code that DOP sent.

If your verification code does not arrive or has expired, you can request a new one.

  • Click "Resend code" to ask DOP to send a new 6-digit code to your email.
  • After you click "Resend code", DOP clears the code field and temporarily disables the "Resend code" button for 60 seconds.
  • Always use the "latest" code you receive. Older codes may not work.
  • If you still do not receive any code after resending, see the troubleshooting section below or contact your administrator.

If you need to change the selected company or reset the login attempt:

  • Click "Cancel" in the company selector or verification step.

When you click "Cancel", DOP:

  • Closes the company selector.
  • Clears any verification code you have entered.
  • Resets error messages.
  • Resets the resend-code countdown.

Use "Cancel" when you picked the wrong company or simply want to start the login process again from the beginning.

Common login problems and how to fix them

Email required or invalid

Enter an email address in a valid format, such as `[email protected]`. Make sure there are no spaces or typos.

Invalid code

Confirm that you copied the "most recent" 6-digit code from your email. Make sure you entered all digits and there are no extra spaces.

Access denied

Your account may not have the necessary permissions, or it may not be correctly linked to this company. Contact your administrator to verify your access and company association.

Expected company does not appear

Verify that your email is actually registered under that company and that your account has been invited or created for that company. If not, ask an administrator to add you.

Code does not arrive

Check your spam or junk folder for the email. Confirm that you entered the correct email address. Use "Resend code" and wait for the new email. If the problem continues, contact support or your administrator.

What to confirm after logging in

  • You reached the expected area (dashboard, employee profile, or client profile) for your role.
  • The company name shown in DOP matches the company you intended to access.
  • You can see the modules or options you expect based on your permissions.
  • If anything looks incorrect (wrong company or missing access), log out and try again or contact your administrator.

After completing the steps in this guide, you should be able to:

  • Log in to DOP using your registered email address.
  • Select the correct company if your email is associated with multiple companies.
  • Receive, enter, and validate a 6-digit verification code sent to your email.
  • Be redirected to the correct area of the system based on your profile and permissions.
